Belladonna

This is a plant (bulb) that in the coastal and the warmer parts of California has very green leaves popping up from the ground now. When the weather changes about June or July the green leaves all turn brown and die, then in and around August you get this beautiful fragrant flower on just a stem. It is in the Amaryllis family of bulbs.
