yeah i sure hope it's true too but form the looks of what's shown the angel sculpture sure looks more than simple designs! :)

Actually, I'm impressed. I agree with you about the flash and tripods are a hassle. Furthermore, you don't see a lot of digital noise in this shot as I would expect from ISO 1600. Very well done.

It's a lovely warm photo.

I shoot high ISO fairly often and I find it can create a really nice warm quality when handled right like you did here.

I completely agree with you on this subject. I've got a very nice tripod, but I find having my camera anchored to it so very limiting that I rarely use it. In fact, I mostly only use it for HDR shots because they can't stand the noise. I don't see any obvious noise here, but I've been using 3200 ISO lately rather than bolt my camera down to that tripod.
