Empire Mine Cottage

This is a wonderful place to visit in the Gold Country here in California. This was a hard rock mine with a history of money, power, and safety. This cottage was not used much do to the noise of the stamping mill that broke and crushed rock. The family home was in San Mateo it was named FILOLI meaning "To FIGHT for a just cause, to LOVE your fellow man, and to LIVE a good life."
Fight Love Live the family motto. FILOLI was the mansion used in the dated series Dynasty.
All the property is now in a trust and are historical land marks including a home in the Napa Valley in Calistoga.
