Some one asked is this the light house from the movie The Fog. I did some research, (didn't take long via the net) and to my suprise it is. This is one of my many favorite places, and I have seen The Fog but did not get a clue. I was so excited I am posting this in color. This is beautiful!!! Your colours and the composition are brilliant. I looked at the black and white image too and I must say I do love the colour, even though the Black and white worked really well too!

Tough to decide whether the B&W or coloured shot is better. They are both outstanding. Congrats!

I am so envious that you could take a shot at something like this from above. Mrs. VF and I love to visit lighthouses. I wonder if it could also be the lighthouse from an old late 50s scary movie, "The Monster of Piedras Blancas" ?
