This is a plant that I have protected each winter. This is a tropical plant and not native to our area where we get frost each winter.

beautiful macro! we get frosts here too all my plants i planted last spring have died now:( have to start oll over again *sigh*, your photo has inspired me to re plant them though :)

Its a beautiful photograph and one of the best I have seen on AM3 - it really shows the difference between a great Dslr like yours and digital compacts. Your composition is flawless with that great background blur!
